We're getting ready to launch a new recreation, culture and Markham Public Library program registration and facility booking system on Monday, June 19!

 

The new system will replace CLASS with a few noteworthy upgrades: self-managed waitlists, increased processing capabilities and independent account creation and management.

Please be advised that Main St Markham N will be closed from Robinson St to Water St, on every Saturday (6:30 am to 2:00 pm) from June 03, 2023 to October 07, 2023 for Farmers Market Event.
 
Main St Markham N will be closed from Hwy 7 to Bullock Dr, on Friday, June 16, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to Saturday, June 17, 2023 until 11:59 p.m for the annual Markham Village Music Festival.

1. York Region is improving Highway 7 in Markham and Richmond Hill
from May until early September 2023. Road work on weeknights, Monday to Friday, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. and lane restrictions are required.

 

2. Kennedy Road from 16th Avenue to Major Mackenzie Drive beginning late May 2023 until November 2023;  Road work will occur on weekdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and lane restrictions are required.

 

3. Kennedy Road from Steeles Avenue to Highway 407 beginning late May 2023 until November 2023. Majority of road work will occur on weeknights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. with some work occurring on weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and lane restrictions are required.
