-Notice of Road Construction (New) -
1. Warden Avenue in the Markham will be reduced from 6 lanes to 3 lanes between Hwy 7 to Clegg Road, beginning Sept. 20, 2023, at 7 a.m. until Oct. 12, 2023, at 5 p.m. for hydro infrastructure upgrades and service to future development. 

2. York Region is improving the road surface at the intersection of 16th Avenue and Woodbine Avenue in the City of Markham beginning Tuesday, October 3, 2023 until Monday, October 9, 2023. This work includes the removal and replacement of the asphalt road surface, curb repairs, catch basin adjustments and pavement markings.

 

The majority of work, including paving, will be completed on weeknights and Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. with some work occurring during off-peak daytime hours. Lane restrictions are required. The work will take approximately one week to complete.
