As we look ahead to the holiday season, we are mindful that some are much less fortunate than us.

In keeping with that, I will be holding a food drive event, "Markham Helping Hands 2022," with Markham Fire & Emergency Service and local supermarket to donate and deliver food items to Markham Food Bank.

On December 10 from 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM, please bring nonperishable, unopened food items to the entrance at Foodymart (HWY 7 & McCowan, 5221 HWY 7 East). You will find large barrels where you can deposit the items.

Thank you in advance for your generosity. I'm sure that the people who receive your donations will be highly grateful.
